Julie is an early-stage investor, operator, and strategist with two decades of experience across media, government, venture capital, and emerging technology. As Founder & CEO of Vataseason, she partners closely with early-stage founders to prepare for successful fundraising—bridging strategy, storytelling, and investor alignment. With a multidisciplinary background, Julie serves as a trusted connector and generator for companies building across diverse verticals.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Journalism from Emory University, and a Master of Business Administration from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. She has also completed the Form and Fund Fellowship at the UC Berkeley School of Law.

CHIEF OF STAFF

Nikole is a seasoned Chief of Staff and strategic operator with over 15 years of experience scaling high-performing teams, optimizing systems, and empowering visionary founders. She specializes in building operational infrastructure that enables clarity, efficiency, and sustainable growth. At Vataseason, she leads internal execution and works hands-on with early-stage companies to streamline operations, prepare for fundraising, and move from vision to traction.

Nikole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from The Ohio State University, and a Master of Business Administration—with a concentration in Marketing and Human Resources—from California State University, East Bay, College of Business and Economics.

VENTURE ASSSOCIATE

Anh is a hybrid operator with a background in biomedical engineering, translational medicine, and digital marketing. She brings a rare mix of technical fluency and brand strategy—shaped by her experience in AR surgical research, medtech commercialization, and content creation. At Vataseason, she helps founders distill complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives that drive visibility, traction, and investor alignment.

Anh holds a Bachelors of Science in Biomedical Engineering from San Jose State University, and a Masters of Translational Medicine from UC Berkeley and UCSF.

SENIOR VENTURE ASSOCIATE

Julian is a career cross-functional operator and analytical success facilitator focused on helping early-stage founders achieve their full potential. After 10 years of service in the Army, Julian now works with Vataseason to help entrepreneurs optimize workflow processes, understand their consumers, and make data-driven decisions to achieve product-market fit.

Julian holds a Bachelors of Science in Engineering and Psychology from the United States Military Academy at West Point, and a Master of Business Administration from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
